First Song Entry
I wrote this song while back in march/april last year, and oftentimes I´ve got complaints about it regarding the various themes occuring in one song. Some of my friends yelled for instance : ” Man, Paul you could have done a couple of songs out of this one, someone need to explain you how to compose a real song.” I told him that I will pay attention to his advice at any time but till then I will do more crazy multi-theme songs.
Listen to the drums carefully, I put some efforts in programming the drum-patterns.

First of all i gotta say that the song is nice and interesting, and sure it took you a lot of effort.
The recording is very good as well, unless, in some parts the guitars (specially the lead guitars, and more specially the 1st and the 2nd solo) were somehow too much in the foreground (my openion :P).
The intro is very nice (both guitars) and i liked it a lot. But the clean-rythem right after the intro comes unexpected and it feels like two songs in one. So i’d like to have lesser clean-rythem passages.
The 2nd solo is very nice (and i liked it a lot), but i find it too much soft for the song, specially for the very nice rythem, which comes right after that solo. The rythem (the distored one) i liked a lot.
What do you think about making two songs out of this one, one with the distored rythem and with the 1st solo, and the 2nd with the clean rythem and with the 2nd solo… that was my openion
I should say, the song in general is very nice and i liked it.

I appreciate you kind words:wink:, regarding the mix as a whole it is very difficult to mix it properly without linear speakers. I´ve got to use my ol´ crappy $10 Desktop-Speakers to do this job:lol:!
Regarding the guitarsolos: It got very much to do with the current mood you´re in while playing solo guitar. If you have a good feeling and if you good the vibe of the music than soloing will come easily out of yourself without much effort. My band and me did a lot of rehearsal this evening and I made this experience I tried to explain about the right mood playing a solo. I will publish some rehearsal bits so you can make you own picture of it
