If you like world music with oriental roots, jazzy, spanish and western influences with superb production quality then I have to recommend you the Artist Marcel Khalife. He isn´t well known in Ilmenau but outside in the world;-) he is a famous star. He plays the traditional arabic intrument oud. It is similiar to a guitar or mandolin but it has no frets.
His current Album Caress:
The albumtitle caress means something like: a gentle or lovely touch/kiss – actually the music on this cd gently touches the listener easily since the first minute of listening.
