Neues Material von den Sarazènen

Friday, January 26th, 2007

Artifects Of The Black Rain

Saturday, December 10th, 2005

I´ve decided to put some of my old productions online. One of these old productions was the IN FLAMES song Artifects Of The Black Rain. Soundquality isn´t this good but it could be even worse like you will see soon. I recorded this song 4 years ago unfortunately the Solo is missing due to a bouncing mistake :-(

Curie Bow

Friday, November 25th, 2005

Former In Flames

Tuesday, July 12th, 2005

One of my interpretations of an original In Flames song called :
Bulletride (mp3 128kbit, 4.2mb)

You´ll find the original song on the remarkable In Flames Album :

Clayman.

I think my cover of it turns out pretty good and it is really useful for using it as a backing track to practise the typical growling and screaming.

The youngest album is this one :

Technical Difficulties

Sunday, July 10th, 2005

I love this song. The first time I listened to it I just wanted to play it too, unfortunately it was so damn difficult to play. It took me about 1 and a half year to improve my technique so far to be partly able to play the song. Decide yourself if I was able enough:

Technical Difficulties Cover (mp3 128kbit, 3.8mb)

By the way, there is a funny tiny story around this song I experienced a couple of months ago:
A website with hundreds of great musicians competing each other called Guitarwar offers memberships for a small fee I was eager to get a membership there. At that time there was the possibility to win a free 6-month membership by competing with a record of your guitarplaying. I decided to record a cover of Technical Difficulties and to put it in there, expecting not much.\r\nBut far from it, I was suspected of cheating and had to prove that this was actually my guitarplaying. I tried to be gentle and did all the things the “guitarwar police” expected from me to prove my innocence. Finally I was spoken unguilty and got a 12 month membership for free. Really nice and generous staff at guitarwar.com

First Song Entry

Sunday, July 10th, 2005

I wrote this song while back in march/april last year, and oftentimes I´ve got complaints about it regarding the various themes occuring in one song. Some of my friends yelled for instance : ” Man, Paul you could have done a couple of songs out of this one, someone need to explain you how to compose a real song.” I told him that I will pay attention to his advice at any time but till then I will do more crazy multi-theme songs.
Listen to the drums carefully, I put some efforts in programming the drum-patterns.
